About Cy
Cy Whitmore is a Police Officer with the Cincinnati Police Department. He works in the Traffic unit as one of the distinguished members of the Motorcycle unit. He proudly represents the CPD with his community relations, and outstanding activities while serving this great city.
Officer Whitmore has served with the Cincinnati Police Department for just over two years now. In just a short period of time Officer Whitmore has started to build up a great reputation with the department, and the community. Outside of excelling at his normal duties, he’s been caught more than once, cutting a rug. He’s slowly becoming known as Cincinnati‘s dancing cop.

Cops Caring For Cops was created to support members of the Cincinnati Police Department diagnosed and living with cancer. Cops Caring For Cops assists any department member diagnosed with cancer, regardless of type, cover the remaining calendar year deductible, directly related to medical expenses incurred with treatment needed. Our foundation aims to deliver widespread awareness surrounding all cancers and to one day end this deadly disease, all together.
